We are proud to announce that we are bringing back the Hudson Valley Summer Arts Pass (HVSAP) for 2024! Five premier cultural arts organizations in the area — Jacob Burns Film Center, Historic Hudson Valley, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Storm King Art Center, and Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival — have once again partnered together to create the HVSAP which is a discounted bundle of tickets to the season's top events. With an abundance of offerings across the five partner organizations, the Pass helps consumers plan a vibrant and diversified season of arts and culture — all within a short drive! NEW THIS YEAR! The HVSAP now has two options to choose from. Consumers can choose from a Two-Person Pack or a Four-Person Pack. The first day of Members' Pre-Sale was a big hit! The phones were ringing off the hook, and the website traffic was at an all-time high. We are so glad our audiences are loving this year's summer concert lineup. Remember, Members' Pre-Sale goes until March 11. You can become a Member at any point during that time to take advantage of the Pre-Sale. On March 12 at 10:00am, all concerts will be on sale to the public. Caramoor's Artistic Director, Kathy Schuman, had a video call with members of the Ivalas Quartet and composer Derrick Skye to chat about the Ivalas' upcoming Caramoor concert on February 25th, where they will give the world premiere of Skye's piece: 'Deliverance'. In this video, we get to learn more about what it's like for a string quartet to be given the chance to work alongside a living composer, and how the composer finds his way in communicating with the quartet. Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts is seeking a Facilities Assistant Superintendent to join our dedicated and hardworking facilities team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, reliable, and have a wide range of knowledge and skills to help maintain multiple historic buildings, performance venues, and gardens. Certified training opportunities are available. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. 

Caramoor seeks a fellow for a short-term (ideally June – August 2024), sustained period of in-person research at our highly unique and historic site in Katonah, New York. Some additional travel to other collections/libraries may be necessary. This opportunity is well suited to an undergraduate or graduate student of American history of the 20th century, with some prior knowledge of and interest in World War II. Those interested in public history, archives, women’s history and/or museum studies are encouraged to apply. Strong writing skills are an asset for applicants. Stipend / $3,500 (made in installments)
